Education

Sigulda District has 7 comprehensive schools, 5 preschool educational institutions, several specialized schools – Music school, Art school, Sport school, Children and Youth interest centre.

Students regularly participate in different state and international contests.

Sigulda branch of Latvia University of Agriculture began its work in autumn 2005. It offers extramural courses of higher education in Agriculture – zootechnics, sociology of organisations and social administration and 1^st level professional higher education in commercial science.
